This page explains how to send a copyright notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512, as amended. It is informational only and does not constitute legal advice. The operator of the Vireos platform is ONE PIXEL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED.
Filing a copyright complaint
If copyrighted work you control appears on Vireos without permission, you may email our agent a complete notice. We may forward relevant parts of your notice to the user who posted the material so they can respond. By submitting a notice you agree we may make that limited disclosure.
Include at least:
- A physical or electronic signature of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner;
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or, for many works, a representative list);
- Enough detail for us to find the allegedly infringing material (for example URLs or in-app paths);
- Your legal name, mailing address, phone number, and email;
- A statement that you believe the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Incomplete or inaccurate notices may be delayed or rejected. Consider speaking with a lawyer if you are unsure what to file.

Misrepresentations
Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing—or that material was wrongly removed—may face liability under applicable law. We may pursue remedies where permitted.
Repeat infringement
Accounts may be closed, with or without advance warning, if we reasonably identify a pattern of repeat infringement under our internal policy and applicable law (for example multiple qualifying notices concerning the same account).
