1. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
Vireos prohibits:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE).
- Grooming or attempts to build trust with a minor for sexual exploitation.
- Sextortion or threats involving real or alleged intimate images of a minor.
- Sexualization of minors.
- Trafficking, solicitation, or commercial sexual exploitation of a child.
- Instructions, links, requests, or coordination intended to obtain, create, distribute, or hide CSAM.
Accounts or content connected to these activities may be removed immediately.
2. User reporting and feedback
Users can report child-safety concerns by contacting:
Use the subject “Child Safety” and include any relevant account, title, URL, screenshot, timestamp, or description that helps us locate the issue.
Users may also contact support@vireos.net for general safety concerns.
3. Review and action
When Vireos obtains actual knowledge of suspected CSAE or CSAM, we may:
- Remove or disable access to the relevant content.
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
- Preserve evidence where legally appropriate.
- Escalate to internal legal or safety reviewers.
- Report confirmed CSAM or unlawful activity to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), local law enforcement, or the relevant regional authority where required or appropriate.
4. Compliance with child-safety laws
Vireos intends to comply with applicable child-safety laws and platform requirements. We review reports and enforcement decisions in light of applicable legal obligations, user safety, and Google Play policy requirements.
5. Prevention
Vireos designs its public profile and account features to reduce misuse. We prohibit underage use, restrict exploitative content, and provide reporting contacts for users and rights holders.
