1. Copyright complaints
If you believe content available through Vireos infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@vireos.net with the subject “Copyright Notice”.
Please include:
- Your full legal name and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The Vireos URL, title, drama ID, episode ID, screenshot, or other information sufficient for us to locate the material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may reject incomplete notices.
2. Action after receiving a notice
After receiving a complete notice, we may:
- Remove or disable access to the reported material.
- Request additional information.
- Notify the relevant uploader, licensor, partner, or account holder.
- Terminate repeat infringer accounts where appropriate.
- Preserve records where required for legal or security reasons.
3. Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to legal@vireos.net with the subject “Copyright Counter-Notice”.
Please include:
- Your full legal name and contact information.
- Identification of the removed or disabled material and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts for the dispute and will accept service of process from the complaining party or its agent, where applicable.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
4. Repeat infringement
We may suspend or terminate accounts, partner access, or content access for repeat infringement or repeated invalid rights claims.
5. Trademark and other rights
For trademark, publicity-right, counterfeit, or other intellectual property issues, contact legal@vireos.net with enough information to identify the right, the material, and your authority to act.
