A mysterious plague collapses North American civilization into a desolate wasteland. Eli, a former sheriff, saves a boy Noah and stumbles into Redstone Town. The town is haunted by cannibalistic Wendigos corrupted by the plague. The hypocritical priest Solomon monopolizes supplies and sacrifices dissenters to the monsters in the name of divinity. While fighting the beasts vulnerable to fire and sunlight, Eli exposes Solomon’s atrocities. Threatened, Solomon sabotages defenses and lets monsters invade the town, causing heavy casualties. Confronting his past guilt of failing his family, Eli overcomes his inner demons. Before dawn, he leads survivors to counterattack. He detonates explosives in the mine to destroy the monster nest, and the corrupted Solomon is torn apart by Wendigos. The town lies in ruins. Eli heads for a new sanctuary with survivors, while distant howls prove the doomsday is far from over.
